Aldeias de Portugal
Milvoz could never be left out of this project, which makes it possible to valorise the rural traditions of the Lusitanian territory, so intrinsically linked to the sustainable use of natural resources and to a natural way of living.

Since its creation, Milvoz has always defended the preservation of natural values and the sustainable balance between human beings and nature. Given this, when we were invited by the local community of Almalaguês, where the Senhora da Alegria Bio-Reserve is located, we gladly accepted to participate in this project.

The Aldeias de Portugal (Portugal Villages) project, promoted by the ATA (Village Tourism Association), aims to enhance the cultural and natural heritage of national villages and being part of it highlights the success Milvoz has had in raising awareness and alerting the local community to the importance of the biodiversity that exists in our Bio-Reserve.

Milvoz organises activities on a regular basis to promote knowledge on the natural environment throughout this project, in which we encourage you to participate. You may be lucky enough to hear a story from the distant past, like the one we recorded a few months ago.
