In partnership with other NGOs

Milvoz participated in the 30th National Meeting of Environmental Protection Associations, organised by CPADA (Portuguese Confederation of Environmental Protection Associations), with a presentation aimed at publicising the project to create a network of Bio-Reserves in the Coimbra region, as well as raising awareness on Faixas Vivas, the collaborative initiative we coordinate.

Moments that bring together and unite the various environmental associations are always very important for maintaining cohesion among the various organisations that strive to conserve nature in the country. Joining forces is essential, since many of these NGOs work on the same issues and very often face serious difficulties in taking action and finding resources.

It was very pleasing for Milvoz to join a panel of young speakers, representing the younger generations in the fight for environmental protection. We want to convey the message that there are young people who choose to embrace this cause and decide to “grow” with it, ensuring that nature conservation continues to be a priority and that future generations will find a healthy and promising planet for their future.
