Milvoz and Scouts together for nature!

Milvoz partnered with Escutismo Mondego Sul to carry out an activity dedicated to the environment and to sustainability! Near the Antanhol stream, we interpreted riparian ecosystems, with a particular emphasis on the importance of the aquatic invertebrate community as bioindicators of water quality. We also had the opportunity to highlight some of the various bird, mammal, reptile, and amphibian species that occur in this watercourse, sharing interesting facts about their life cycles and ecology.

Additionally, we helped planting native trees on a nearby plot of land, which will be cared for by the scouts over the coming years.

This activity had around two hundred scout participants. It was a fantastic moment for sharing and spreading the message of Milvoz in favor of preserving our natural heritage!
