There is no better way to learn about the importance of our habitats and native species than through direct contact with them. That’s exactly what two very special groups experienced when visiting the Senhora da Alegria Bio-Reserve at the end of February.

The Senior University of Tomar traveled to Almalaguês to learn about the work in nature conservation that we carry out in this place. These students are an inspiring example of how the desire to learn can last a lifetime. Coming from much closer, the Teatrão group, which is developing a community-based creative project in Almalaguês, also wanted to visit the Bio-Reserve. Moments like these bring us great joy and make our mission meaningful.

Despite the lingering calm of the winter season, the first flowers begin to bloom, turning the lower layer of vegetation considerably more beautiful.
